UFC 115 Predictions – Fight Card – Watch Preview

“UFC 115 will take place in the City of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at General Motors Place on Saturday, June 12″. When I saw this from “UFC.com”, I was surprised because 114 just ended like 2 weeks ago and now 115 is about to begin this coming weekend. The main event for UFC 115 will be a match between Chuck “the iceman” Liddell (which is one of my idol), against Rich “ace” Franklin. For the co-main event, it will be Mirko Cro Cop against Pat Barry. Another exciting match up for this event is Ben Rothwell against Gilbert Yvel. Now let’s go to my predictions for this fight.

First is the match between Ben Rothwell and Gilbert Yvel. This is one of the matches that people don’t talk about much. And I guess that is because these two fighters are actually looking for their first win in UFC. Both actually are stand up fighters so this would be something that we should look forward to. My prediction will be a win for Ben Rothwell as Gilbert Yvel wouldn’t have enough fire power to bring down the big man. For the co-main event, I think Mirko Cro Cop will have the victory over Pat Barry via knock out. This is Cro Cop that we’re talking about. the guy who is known for his kicks and a very excellent striker.

Lastly, you have the main event which I’m looking forward to since I’m a big fan of Chuck Liddell. The battle between Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin will be an important fight for these two as their reputation is in the line here. Both fighters are actually in the crossroads of their respective careers. Also, both fighters came from a lost in their last fights so they really need to make it up for this fight to finally prove which one should still get a title shot for the light heavyweight title, and which one should pack their bags and retire. I hate to say this but even though Chuck Liddell is my idol, I think Franklin will win this fight via unanimous decision. Liddell is already 40 years old and just considered to be a hall of famer in UFC. I think that is enough for him.
