Quick PC Troubleshooting Guide
I write this article for those PC users who were scared touching their hardware when they encounter PC problems. After you read this you will have an idea of what’s problem your PC has, and also you can earn some confident in dealing with PC Troubleshooting. If you have more idea that you want to share just post it to the comment and I will definitely include that. I listed different scenarios in which we always encountering with PC Problems. I assume that you know all the labeling of your hardware PC parts then if you still don’t know you can go to this website and read it first. And also I also assume that all your plugs are properly connected even your hardware because it can affect this tutorial if you’re hardware is not properly connected. OK let’s start:
1st Scenario:
Problem: No power
Reason 1: Your Power Supply is busted; buy power supply with high voltage, high voltage is better than the low one.
2nd Scenario:
Problem: No display in the monitor (blackout), but with power, not beeping
Reason 1: Mother board problem – try to isolate if you have other motherboard that fits to your memory and processor then try to replace it if it will run.
Reason 2: Processor problem – try to isolate if you have other processor that fits to your motherboard then try to replace it if it will run.
Reason 3: Memory problem – I put it to reason 3 because it will be the least that you will expect but sometimes it may also be a problem because sometimes memory don’t beep even its damage.
3rd Scenario:
Problem: No display in the monitor (blackout), but with power, beeping
Reason 1: It depends on how many beep you can check your motherboard manual for beep count. But it’s just the memory or the video card.
4th Scenario:
Problem: Blue Screen
Reason 1: Hard Disk Problem – try to isolate if you have other hard disk then check if it will appear again.
Reason 2: It can also be your memory
5th Scenario:
Problem: Disk Boot failure at start up
Reason 1: Hard Disk Failure
