Alaska vs Purefoods PBA All Filipino Championship Finals

The 35th season of Philippine Basketball Association PBA Finals will be on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 and it will be the Alaska Aces versus the Purefoods Giants. As we recall the top 2 teams in the PBA this season were Alaska Aces and San Miguel Beermen but the power house San Miguel Beermen drops to their semi finals opponent Purefoods Giants. While the Alaska Aces swept another power house team Ginebra Gin Kings.

In my personal opinion the Alaska Aces will be the champion of 35th All Filipino Finals. Why? Because they are my favorite team since 1995 and also they are executing basketball with perfection and the intelligence in every play exists.

Pinoy Big Brother PBB Teen Edition Season 3

This summer the house of Pinoy Big Brother will be open again and this time the teenagers turn to shine and prove themselves inside big brothers house. Remember the first Pinoy Big Brother PBB Teen Edition winner was Kim Chiu and the second winner was EJ Falcom, look at them now they are one of teleserye stars in ABS CBN.

The adolescents chosen for the Teen Edition, as already mentioned, are aged 16 to 19 (18 in the first Teen Edition and 14-17 for the third one, although this rule was slightly breached; see below) and are from different cities in the Philippines, sometimes even from certain overseas countries with sizable Filipino communities. Other factors are disregarded; in-school and out-of-school youths, natural-born Filipinos and adolescents with a mixture of Filipino and foreign blood, those with intact and broken families, and even teenage single parents may be eligible as long one passes the age requirement and has a background worth exploring during the edition’s run.

This edition is usually done in the Philippine “summer” months of late March to early June. During this time, temperatures in the country are at their highest and most students are out of school; a regular school year in the Philippines runs from June of one year to March of the next.

A third season was announced, with auditions already being taken place. It was announced that it would start airing during summer 2010.

Pilipinas Got Talent

The pilot episode of Pilipinas Got Talent was just aired yesterday February 20, 2010 (saturday), and as expected it was entertaining and will surely exposed the talents of every Filipinos. The style of the show is like an American Idol who have three judges that will say Yes if they liked it and No if not. The aired episode was just an audition who tried their luck to enter the said contest, at first it was more of No, for the reason that many of those who auditioned failed to impress the three judges (Ai Ai Delas Alas, Kris Aquino and Freddie Garcia aka FMG). But there was a group of grandmothers who makes the crowd and the judges entertain by means of their dancing skill and even though there were old it’s no issue.
